Jensen Interceptor S

The Jensen Interceptor was the dream car of the 60s and 70s, its sleek, iconic looks put it in a different league to any other car on the road. Super-cool, Italian design and powerful American V8 engines along with unbridled luxury made the Jensen Interceptor symbolic of the hedonistic, unlimited optimism of a generation.

Jensen effectively ceased production in 1976 but the name and image remains. We received so many requests for a ‘modern Interceptor’ that could bridge the 35 year gap that we began to think what it might look like.

The ‘new’ Interceptor must retain its iconic image and heritage. It must be a powerful, luxurious Grand Tourer capable of handling today’s traffic and road conditions. It must be a ‘driver’s car’ and needs to be reliable as well as stylish.

The Jensen Interceptor S is the result and we are delighted.



Each Jensen Interceptor S is hand-built for its owner using an original donor car, restored, stabilised and re-styled to improve looks and accommodate new technology.

The General Motors LS3 V8 engine delivers an impressive 429bhp through either a 4-speed automatic or 6-speed manual gearbox. Independent rear suspension developed specifically to fit the S, ensures handling and performance that the original designers could not have imagined.

The purpose built exhaust system ensures the Interceptor S sounds wonderful and uprated suspension on the front wheels helps to give the driver a unique driving experience. Finally the AP 6-pot braking system complements the additional engine power with appropriate control.

The Jensen Interceptor S is a true Grand Tourer. Lifted from its past and re-engineered to meet the demands of today’s motoring, it is powerful without being brash, luxurious without feeling cosseted, and most of all, uniquely hand-built for its owner.
