Jensen CV8 MkII 1964

To drive this rare CV8 is to be transported lock stock and double-barrel back to a more genteel age. The incredibly unmolested condition of the car has allowed it to develop the most gorgeous patina of age which is simply impossible to recreate… the smell of vintage leather, row of classic instrumentation, column change and thin wood-rimmed steering wheel are all just delightful. Whilst patently an unrestored cat that’s not to say it’s not been kept up to date with things such as electric cooling fans. The 6.3 Litre V8 certainly fells well capable of delivering it’s quoted 330bhp and an enthusiastic pilot could easily surprise many a modern performance car in a most uniquely aristocratic fashion. Totally ready to go with no known major issues to resolve be prepared to be utterly charmed and delighted with every mile covered, all for:

Jensen Interceptor MkIII (1973)

In current ownership since 1996 this exceptional Interceptor was subject of a “no expense spared” ground up restoration by us in 1997 at a cost of £60,000. Since then the car has been used sparingly, covering a total of 11,000 miles in the intervening years. Being a local car to us we have carried out all regular servicing and periodically added upgrades at our clients request.

The bespoke colour scheme, dark metallic blue, cream leather/carpets with blue piping and walnut veneers, is highly attractive and the car has won several concours events. Upgrades include: Series 4 wheels and doorhandles, superpack radiator with high capacity fans, fastwind starter, Jaguar door mirrors, double dip headlights, woodrim steering wheel, upgraded audio system and more.

The car will be supplied with 12 months MoT and an age related “M” registration number, it is currently taxed and MoTd until May 2010. Comprehensively refurbished and very carefully kept, with a thick history file, this car is absolutely beautiful and easily justifies the asking price of:

Jensen Interceptor MkIII (1974)

This timewarp Interceptor is a genuine 2 owner from new car with a very good overall original condition to support the 59300 recorded miles. The car is a delight to look at and to drive, the only evident modifications being the addition of double dip headlamps, constant output alternator, copper manifold gaskets and stainless silencers. Not surprisingly at this age the car has been repainted but this has been done to a very high standard and otherwise all looks to be original. We would suggest that this is one of the best original Interceptors available on the market today and as such would represent an excellent and highly rewarding investment opportunity. This very useable car will be supplied with a full years MoT and, if you wish to own one of the least molested UK Interceptors, is not to be missed at:
